01:22 PM ET 01.13 | Relief pitcher Brian Wilson held a private workout on Saturday and he is beginning to generate some buzz among MLB teams. It is being reported that around 10 clubs are interested in the San Francisco Giants closer. While there is some demand for Wilson, one team is reportedly more interested than the others. The New York Mets are reportedly showing "strong interest" in Wilson. Wilson should be cleared to throw from the mound soon and that would be the final straw for those teams interested in his services. If Wilson were to land with the Giants, he would take over the Mets' closer role, while Frank Francisco moved to a set-up role.

It's from FanSided. All you can do is read what they say, and guess what they mean.

Why wait this isn't done yet, add Sizemore and Upton to the mix and the Mets might be viable this year and even get some fan interest back.

"Wilson should be cleared to throw from the mound soon"
That's really all we need to know at this point about a guy coming off his second Tommy John surgery. No one is going to show strong interest until they guy is at least able to pitch off the mound.

if he isn't cleared to throw from the mound, then what in his private workout has impressed the Mets so much?

He's doomed if he signs with the Mets. That would pretty much guarantee his arm will blow up.
As to "Sizemore" are you talking Grady Sizemore??? I honestly and truly wouldn't sign him to my AAA team. I hate how he has been injured time and time again, because he looked so good back in 2005-2008, but he is completely washed up. Over the past 3 seasons he's averaged playing 35 games a year and hit .220. I wouldn't touch him even if he offered to sign a league minimum deal.
