Was Manning's arm strength the issue?

I saw it reported somewhere that Manning wore a glove because the cold aggravated the nervie issues in his throwing hand and affected his grip on the ball. I think there's little question the cold was a problem for him.

Back when Manning first chose Denver, I was very surprised to see him pick a non-dome team. That might've been a huge mistake.

If the defense did their job, Manning's arm would never be in question.

He got better as the game went along... But some of those passes in the 1st quarter has absolutely nothing on them.

Agreed. He looked liked he'd just gone nine innings at the beginning.

why didn't manning go to the no-huddle more? high altitude, thin air...should have used that advantage against the ravens more with the no-huddle

It is hard to justify that safety letting a receiver get behind him in that situation. Still, that was one ugly pick Manning threw. Just a bonehead decision.

Yeah, his historical lack of success in the playoffs has a lot to do with having to play outdoors late in the season. While the altitude in Denver is a distinct advantage to the home team, a cold winter day anywhere is a distinct disadvantage to Peyton Manning.

It was, however, an unusually cold day at Mile High. Seriously bad luck for Manning the Elder.

Manning's no huddle isn't like Brady's.... The Pat's no huddle is more traditional, whereas they call a play quickly... Peyton lines up the players quickly like a no-huddle... But then calls about 50 audibles before the play clock expires.

I think he's now 0-5 when playing in weather under 40 degrees.

Between being Old, Cold and weak arm, things got worse and the game went on!!!!!!

Manning wasn't the problem. It was the secondary and John Fox's timid decision near the end of regulation. The smarter, bolder team won. That's all.
