08:09 AM ET 01.15 | Coyotes GM Don Maloney remains on the lookout for an upgrade to the roster. [But] don't expect him to pick apart the core of the Coyotes to do it. "There are a lot of teams looking for defensive help, defensemen," Maloney said. "So we have depth there and quality there and quantity, but we like our players. We like our depth. We like the idea of Keith Yandle on our roster and Oliver Ekman-Larsson, and I really believe we may lack some skill up front to a degree, but we can make up for it with a mobile, puck-moving defense, and Keith is the lead of the line in that department." Yandle's name has been mentioned in trade rumors since the NHL draft last June.

There were no bidders. Ergo, no "highest" bid.

Contract them like a young woman in her 40th week.

I think I can name but 3 players on the Yotes, and 2 of them are mentioned above.

When your team loses as much cash as the Yotes, nobody is untouchable.

Those who tried to hold a candle to Yandle could not handle Yandle or the resulting scandal.

And if said Yandle, who cannot be handled, nor held to a candle did NOT survive the scandal, would he then be forced to panhandle?
