01:29 PM ET 01.15 | Todd Haley isn't likely to join the Arizona Cardinals as their head coach, unless they decide to pay up. According to NFL.com, via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Haley set his asking price "very high" during his interview with Cardinals owner Mike Bidwill. Haley interviewed late last week and also reportedly made "steep demands" during the interview. According to the original report, Haley wouldn't make a leave for Arizona unless prompted with a deal that is "almost too good to pass up."

I bet Ben Roethlisburger would pay some of that money for AZ.

Steep financial demands......and the Bidwills........Hmmmm. I'm thinking this might not work out.

Who wouldn't pay top dollar for a QB guru like Haley?

Yeah, I couldn't even type that with a straight face.

I'm still trying to figure out why anyone would interview this guy to be a HC. He did such a bang-up job in KC, after all.

I guess GMs and ownership around the league really do have short memories.

Good question, but you have to remember it is the Bidwills. Probably not as much of a memory issue as it is a lack of football knowledge with them.

who the f would want haley as their head-coach ??,.....he should be ''thankfull'' anybody would even consider him as a HC !,.....he should just take it [3-yrs/guaranteed]....his OC-gig in pitt is less $$$ and once BIG-ben gets tired of him = he's GONE !

I'm not sure even Bidwill is that stupid. But I could be wrong.

The only head coach that made Josh McDaniels look like he was in control.

Why is Haley in the NFL PERIOD?????

Good question. Can somebody explain why an OC gets so much ink? And his team is not even in the playoffs? Make him go away.

He got a lot of mileage out of having Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin run his plays...

Haley is an idiot who couldn't hack it as a head coach in KC. Despite the differences in talent between the two teams, a good coach knows how to get the most out of them and the coaches below the head coach. Is Haley that guy? HELL NO.
