Pot played role in UConn suspensions?

UConn police found a small amount of marijuana at the scene Thursday night when UConn basketball players Doug Wiggins and Jerome Dyson were issued other citations. "Marijuana was involved," UConn Police Maj. Ronald Blicher said. "They were not charged, but a small amount of marijuana was found at the scene. ... I wouldn't go so far as to say it was abandoned, but upon officers checking with the occupants of the vehicle, marijuana was found in the vicinity of the car."

That's unusual. Marijuana was found around college kids? You hardly ever see that.

Report Offensive CommentIm surprised Calhoun did anything to these kids. After the Marcus Williams and A.J. Price stealing laptops from campus dorms and selling them at local pawn shops incident, I figured Ol' Jim would pat them on the back for a job well done up in Storrs. Can anyone blame them? We are talking about Storrs, CT here.

Report Offensive CommentMARINsur4, what is wrong with Storrs?? It's a small town in Connecticut. Did someone from Storrs hurt your feelings once of something??

A SURE sign they had NOT been smoking. If they had smoked, they would have been doing 11 mph.
