Dr. James Andrews, if you would have done your job, while on the sidelines of the Seahawks/Skins game, you would have suggested to coach Shanahan, to pull RG3 from the game when he got hurt along the sidelines with 3/4 minutes to go in the 1st period with the Skins leading 14-0, then this article and RG3's operation, wouldn't have been an issue!!!.

Mangler, I'm having a hard time figuring out why Dr. James Andrews was on the sidelines during the Seahawk/Skins game, if he didn't check out RG#'s knee during the game!!! Anybody that was watching that game, could see R

Didn't finish, hit the submit buttom by mistake. "Anybody that was watching that game, could see RG3 limping around like an old man in the 1st quarter and into the 4th quarter!!! IMO, I hold Dr. Andrews responsible, as he should have recommended to Shanahan, to pull RG3 in the 1st period"!!!

I hope he makes it back sooner than I think or anyone else thinks. But you would have to be a fool to listen to the doctor or Shanahan at this point. They both blew this one. And it's obvious they are still focused on getting him back for 2013, when they should be taking this one day at a time. Shanahan should be fired now and the doctor too. They would rather rush him back into the lineup and risk having him crippled for life.

I agree!!! I think both Shanahan and Dr. Andrews are trying to "cover their "A--S--Ses" at this point!!!

I have a hard time believing that a professional football coach, with 20+ years of experience evaluating professional athletes against various criteria, could not figure out that his QB, the crown jewel of the franchise, was not fit enough to be kept in the game. If RGIII was purely a pocket-passer, then MAYBE it would be acceptable to keep him in the game, but a pocket passer is clearly not what the guy is, and it's not how the offense is set up to operate around him. Shanny ought to have known better... he effed that one up, big time.

His ego got to him in a big way. He was far more concerned about getting the "W" than what he was doing to his franchise QB. It's sad because RGIII seems like a good guy and now the chances that he has a long NFL career are pretty slim. All because the head coach wanted to win and all costs. Big mistake, real big.

And I completely trust Dr James Andrews after his fine handling of the situation to date. He and Shanahan should both get ranking positions in the federal healthcare bureaucracy.

Strange thing is that Kirk Cousins would have given them a better chance to win. I just don't think Shanny had the courage to tell RG3 to sit. Something you wouldn't expect with his personality.
