The potential to get off to an 0-6 start through the first third of the conference schedule is not only possible, but likely. Then what? The modern mentality is to say you fire the coach and start over. But I'm not convinced that's the answer. Mark Fox came to Georgia with a strong resume and with a reputation as an Xs-and-Os coach who could scheme with the best of them. ... But Fox hasn't been able to transfer that success to Athens. He has had one good season in three. He was 21-12 in Year 2 and had a one-game appearance in the NCAA Tournament. But he made that run with a roster of contributors recruited to UGA by the previous regime.

Back in the 80s, you could have watched Michael Jordan for several years and a lot of good players. Now, all the good players are playing their sophomore years in the pros.

The college game has taken a huge hit because of that.

CFB is moving that way, unfortunately. Seems like any Junior that saw more than 5 min of playing time for an FBS school wants to declare for the draft.

Almost any team that loses to this years MSUs bball team probably needs to examine everything about their program. MSUs is playing with 6 scholly players and like 2 or 3 walk-ons, and the scholly players are nowhere near elite. Georgia should be ashamed to have lost at home to a team that got beat by Alabama A&M.
