Texas A&M athletic director Eric Hyman sat down with Johnny Manziel's parents recently and discussed the star quarterback's new title. "I told them he's no longer a freshman, and he's no longer a sophomore, junior or senior," Hyman said Sunday. "He is a 'Heisman.'" After the Kerrville Tivy-ex won the Heisman Trophy on Dec. 8, he became a target of the gossip website TMZ.com, which released pictures of Manziel partying at a Dallas bar. His parents were present, the site later reported, and no one saw the 20-year-old drink. The night before, Manziel had posted a picture (later removed) of himself on Twitter fanning cash in an Oklahoma casino.

I would start in Dallas....drop a few grand on Greenville and Deep Elem, then hop a ride to Austin and end the night on 6th street chasing the best quality/quanity co-eds I've ever seen.
And that would be a Tuesday night.......every Tuesday nite.

I saw a extended TV interview with Manziel during Cotton Bowl week in Dallas. I was impressed how he handled himself and how he answered some tough questions. His head seemed to be screwed on very straight and he seems mature for a kid his age. That interview holds more water than the drama being manufactured by the San Antonio Express.
Or course it IS the San Antonio Express and they cater to the infamous San Antonio booster mafia.

San Antonio is one of those "one team towns". Their world revolves around the Spurs because that's all they really have.
The San Antonio Express provides coverage for the Spurs and ... the Spurs. From time to time they write a glowing article about the Aggies, whether it's deserved or not, most likely with the intent of getting under Red McCombs' skin.
