06:08 PM ET 01.16 | The Atlanta Falcons' win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday was impressive, but the team's defense struggled throughout the day rushing the presser. That problem only got worse when their best pass rusher John Abraham sat out the second half with an ankle injury. Falcons coach Mike Smith said Wednesday that he expects Abraham to start the NFC Championship. That's the good news. The bad news is that Abraham didn't practice Wednesday and the team is making alternative plans if Abraham isn't playing at full capacity on Sunday.

Even if he can play, he's not catching Kaepernick limping around on a bum ankle.
