CJ2K questions Titans' offseason moves

08:04 AM ET 01.17 | Tennessee running back Chris Johnson doesn't seem all that pleased with the Titans' offseason math. Johnson tweeted, "All these subtractions and no additions so far. I just don't get it I want playoff guess I'll wait in see how free agency and the draft go" ... For those who need a scorecard of the Titans changes, the club has rid itself of Johnson's position coach Jim Skipper, plus long-time special teams coach Alan Lowry, linebackers coach Frank Bush and tight ends coach John Zernhelt with no replacements yet being hired. Johnson's contract has a five-day out after the Super Bowl, if the club wants to escape from the $53 million extension he signed in 2011. Indications are that Johnson will stay with the Titans.

From that tweet, I'd say this guy isn't part of their brain trust.

cut him during the five day window....draft Stacy for couple of million....what would it hurt....all we have right now is a HC and a DC....save money, let players coach themselves and team could not be any worse off next year....sad times in Music City.....

Yeah. His contract keeps them from dealing effectively with the cap.

Good luck finding a job, Mr. Johnson. You're not worth what your contract says you are.

he is not even worth the price of his teeth.........

Things are not looking good for Chris Johnson. His chances of making the Super Bowl in the next 4 years are slim and none. With Houston and Indianapolis in front of you and Jacksonville looking to make an honest attempt at building a team, your team slogan will be "Heading South in the South".

Bud Adams is proof that a monkey could own an NFL team and make money. He signs VY for $56 million, CJ fpr $53 million, has nothing to show for any of it and still owns and runs a business in a $10 billion a year industry.

January 17, 2013  10:19 AM ET

If VY was worth $56 million and CJ worth $53 million, then I wonder how much Bud offered to sign ABBA?

+100000.....what an embarrassment for Music City.....hard to believe Munchak still has a job...need to completely clean house or sell to a group who will put the team back into being competive...tired of being mediocre....PSL holders are getting tired of the whole situation...

A not so long ago famous quote by Bud Adams..."I don't think we have to rebuild, we just have to keep them going like they played today,"

Stuff you just cannot make up.

Hard to fathom how that works.
