04:59 PM ET 01.17 | UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is growing tired of Daniel Cormier calling him out. Jones responded to Cormier's comments after he won his fight this past weekend at Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine. "I think the guy is a tremendous athlete, and I wish he would just do it and stop talking about it. I'm open to fighting the best guys in the world. That's why I'm here," Jones said.

Cormier needs to prove he can even win in the UFC before calling out a future legend. Not only that he needs to prove he can even make LHW. He already had kidney failure once cutting weight in wrestling.

Totally agree with you... Most guys who have come from Strikeforce just aren't in the kind of shape UFC fighters are in nor are they as technically sound.... Wouldn't be surprised if Cormier gets KO'd early in his UFC career before he even earns a title shot.... Dana and company have a nice track record of exposing alot of the Strikeforce talent in a way to make a point and show just how superior the UFC roster is compared to Strikeforce's roster.

Agree. I think it's ridiculous that these guys from other promotions keep coming in and immediately start calling out the champs. Why not prove you deserve to be there first and win some fights before calling out a UFC champ.

Yes those strikeforce pansies like Ben Henderson & Jose Aldo have no business being in the UFC. Nice to know that guys like Anthony Pettis have to wait their turn before fighting for a belt and calling out a Champ that they already beat.
