07:26 PM ET 01.17 | A report released by an independent committee charged with investigating NBA Player's Association executive Billy Hunter found that he did not commit any crimes, but he did severely hurt the image of himself due to putting his own interests ahead of those of the union. The report by Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP said Hunter's position of power should be challenged. It found that Hunter did not consider conflicts of interest and even knowingly didn't get his own contract properly approved. It also suggested that Hunter gave family and friends employment without full disclosure. He also allegedly created an atmosphere that discouraged anyone to challenge his authority. Many of the charges involve questionable spending, including a $22,000 watch to NBA player representative Derek Fisher.
