09:01 PM ET 01.17 | Every year around draft time, Ryan Leaf becomes very relevant. For a guy taken No. 2 overall in the 1998 NFL Draft, that's not the right time to become relevant, as it means you're likely a draft bust. For years, Leaf was the bust to end all busts, but JaMarcus Russell has done his part to bail Leaf out. But Leaf will need more than just Russell's help to get him out of his latest predicament. The ex-NFL quarterback has been kicked out of drug treatment and sent back to prison. Leaf reportedly threatened a staff member and engaged in "other unspecified behavioral problems at the center," per a report from ESPN. Great Falls regional probation and parole administrator Dawn Handa said that Leaf will be spending the rest of his drug treatment at Deer Lodge prison, which isn't as accommodating as the name suggests.
