Kelly looking for a QB?

08:04 AM ET 01.18 | In his first day on the job, Chip Kelly chose not to make any proclamations about his choice for starting quarterback. But there were words to be parsed and phrasings to be speculated upon, and the general sense from this vantage point was that Kelly's starting quarterback for 2013 isn't likely on the current roster. "There is nothing that's on the board right now, there's nothing that's off the board now," Kelly said. ... The more pressing question with [Michael Vick's] contract is whether the Eagles will keep him beyond Feb. 6. On that date, a provision kicks in that guarantees him $3 million. "It's pretty obvious that there is a first decision to make," Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said.

QB is the least of his worries. He should be more concerned with the Eagles Pop O-line.

No. QB is a bigger concern. In fact O-Line is no concern. The problem last year was their health, they will be back to full strength by the start of camp. His main focus needs to be hiring a staff and working on fixing the secondary.

He can't afford to clean house completely. He'll have to keep some players, at least for a year or two, that don't necessarily fit his vision.

I think so, too. After being cut by the Eagles, he may find a job as a backup somewhere when someone gets hurt in pre-season, but his days of getting starter money are gone.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Kelly signed Tim Tebow? I would move to Philadelphia just to watch the fans burn the stadium to the ground.

If you think that O-line is okay you are presuming Peters is coming back from a double rupture of his Achilles and you are going to just ignore the other holes on the O-line cause your best lineman before last season might be healthy enough to play this year. Who are you I'm betting you're Rod Graves or Jerry Angelo. You build a team from the line out this has not changed as the game does. And if you don't you will end up like the 2 previously mentioned ex-GM's
