08:17 AM ET 01.18 | What a difference a year makes. [The] Texas A&M Aggies have gone from living under the looming shadow of the Texas Longhorns to becoming one of the most talked about programs in college football. And the success has manifested itself on the recruiting trail, at least in the last year. The Aggies currently boast a 2013 class that is easily the biggest in the nation and has earned top-ten status from virtually every major recruiting source. Rivals.com lists A&M as having the No. 8 class in the country, while Texas is at No. 18. ESPN has A&M at 5 and Texas at 11. Scout has A&M at 2, while Texas is at 15. It seems the Longhorns, for the first time in a long time, are lagging behind A&M in recruiting.

Careful agnuts. Look how the rusty cows turned out the past few years with the "better" recruiting class...at least according to ranking companies.

I said this would happen the day they announced they were going to the SEC. And after the season they had, will only boost it that much more.

And that, considering where they were 2 years ago, is amazing.

My memories of the hospitality which I received at the UTx student union in 1980 will never pale. Keep Austin weird (and friendly).

But I bet they lose the 5* WR Treadwell...

To who?

Or is it "whom"?

Don't want to give that English Teacher Harley any ammo.
