03:58 PM ET 01.18 | Manziel has garnered the attention of the gossip site TMZ, recently tweeting a photo of himself at a casino with a wad of cash. He was also busted for speeding not too long ago, which has many of his fans worried he's starting down a dark path that some young and talented quarterbacks tend to follow. It was widely reported that Manziel's parents had a sit-down with the school to discuss their son's behavior, but the quarterback says no one at the school has told him to tone down his behavior or mellow out his party habits. However, although no one has supposedly approached the quarterback telling him to take a chill pill, Manziel says he'll likely think twice before he goes public with the things he does behind the scenes.

How about your brain starts matching your football talents??? No one should have to tell you, that running around flashing cash, and acting like a jackhole, is probably not a good idea. Yeah, I know, we all did it in college too. Difference is, none of us won the Heisman, or were on the general publics radar. So don't give me that crap.

Enjoy it now kid, you're only young once. You're at the top of the mountain today, and it's only downhill from here. You'll never win another Heisman trophy, you'll never have another 11 win season ATM, and you'll never become anything in the NFL. Tell everybody to just go to hell. That's what being a young superstar is all about.

I don't know ...
The read option trend in the NFL is because a few smart coaches are adapting to the talent at QB coming out of college. Kappernick and Wilson do not fit the pre-conceived model of a perfect NFL QB but these guys excelled and took their teams to the playoffs. Griffin III is a precision pocket passer with crazy running skills. It would have been an easy call to plug him into a pocket passing system but that wouldn't have taken the Redskins as far IMO.
Also the read option is a good way to attack a 3/4 defense. I suspect a few teams will be changing to a 4/3 cover 2 to deal with the trends.
With all that said ... Manziel's talent with his feet would be hard to stop in any league. He made Alabama and Oklahoma defenders whiff time after time, and those are feeder schools to the NFL.
