06:32 PM ET 01.18 | Indiana Pacers small forward Danny Granger has yet to play in a game this season due to patellar tendinitis in his left knee, but he participated in shooting drills on Friday and is expected to participate in non-contact drills next week, according to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star. Earlier this week, Head coach Frank Vogel told Indianapolis radio station 1070 The Fan that the team is optimistic about Granger???s progress, and is believed that Granger could be primed to return in late January or early February. Wells noted that Granger will take part in non-contact drills with the team during their upcoming west coast road trip that starts on Monday in Memphis.

Hope Granger comes back & plays well. I liked how the Pacers didn't whine about injuries -- just went back to work. (and they didn't play well for a while -- now doing well)

The Pacers do it the right way -- defense, team ball ... it isn't just about putting over-hyped players on the court.

It's good he's back. They will suck while they adjust but in the long run his presence should benefit them in the playoffs... but their center needs to wake up! W T F... I told ya once he gets the money he's back to oblivion... and y'all thought you got Ewing... hahahah... ya got Vujuavic....

definitely- they have a great defense- giving up less then 90 points a game- i believe that is #1 in the league- and have been doing it the whole year without one of, if not their best player (personally i believe Paul George is now there best)

this team to me is the #2 team in the East - especially once Granger gets back

them and Chicago, once Rose gets back are definitely the 2nd and 3rd most talented teams behind Miami

2 out of their last 3 games the Magic lost to the Wizards and the Bobcats.....
