09:21 AM ET 01.19 | The Anaheim Ducks have captain Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry playing in the final year of their contracts, and may find it tough to re-sign both. Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register tweeted that Getzlaf told the media that the Ducks continue to be his first option and he's let general manager Bob Murray know it.

CALGARY POLICE DISPLAY SENSITIVITY

I get irritated when people come down on our police officers, saying that they don't care about or respect others.

Well, here is a story that clearly shows not all cops are in that category. This story involves the police in Calgary, who reported finding a man's body last Saturday in the early evening in the Bow River near the Centre Street bridge.

The dead man's name would not be released until his family had been
notified. The victim apparently drowned due to excessive beer consumption while visiting "someone" in the centre street area.

He was wearing black fishnet stockings, 4 inch spiked heels, a red garter
belt, a pink G-string, purple lipstick, dazzle dust on his eyelids, 1/2 inch false eyelashes,
and a Toronto Maple Leaf sweater.

The Police removed the Maple Leaf sweater to spare his family any unnecessary embarrassment.

See there, the Calgary Police do care.

Wow, Jimmy Howard must've been extremely perturbed by the signing of Jonas Gustavsson.

That's OK, HC. If it makes you feel any better, I'll be singing your National Anthem at the top of my lungs. "OH, CANTNADA!! WE STOLE THE NATIVE'S LAND!!!

And then, you can sing ours: "JOSE CAN YOU SEEEEE!!!!! THERE'S A FENCE IN YOUR WAY!!!!"
