06:49 PM ET 01.19 | A year ago, head coach Greg Schiano tried to hire Arizona Cardinals coordinator John McNulty as his offensive coordinator but was blocked by the Cardinals. Now that Arizona has cleansed itself of the Ken Whisenhunt regime, Schiano finally has hired McNulty in Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers have announced that McNulty will serve as the new quarterbacks coach in town, taking over for Ron Turner, who bolted for the head coaching job at Florida International. General manager Mark Dominik announced the move, saying McNulty will closely work with offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan in 2013. McNulty served as Greg Schiano's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach during his last three years at Rutgers. The university tried to hire McNulty after Dave Brock took a head coaching job at Deleware.

This will be either the third or fourth QB coach Freeman has had. Tough to be consistent when the system keeps changing.
