05:45 PM ET 01.19 | After a lengthy search to replace Mike Tannenbaum, the New York Jets have found their man and plan to hire John Idzik, according to several reports. Idzik has served as the vice president of football administration for the Seattle Seahawks for the past six seasons after joining the team in 2007. Prior to joining the Seahawks, Idzik had experience as the senior director of football operations for the Arizona Cardinals for three seasons. His first NFL experience came with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he was hired in 1993 as a pro personnel assistant and rose through the ranks to become assistant general manager during his 11-year tenure with the team.
