Matt Kemp expects to be 100% for season opener

You know, the Dodgers have spent all this money, and still don't have a leadoff hitter.

Kemp is fragile, and might hold up better if placed in right field.

Solution: Sign Michael Bourn to a two or three-year deal, deal Ethier for some youth (Atlanta?), and slide Kemp over.

Shoulder injury seriously altered Scott Rolen's HOF career trajectory. They seem to be the worst of all injuries to sustain.

Mtt kemp appears to be playing with the dodgers money, should kemp remain in the injury list the blues wouldn't going to be too happy!!

Actually if he continues to have shoulder problems, left field will be better than right field, easier throw!!!! Who are you going to get in return for Ethier, that is just as good as he is???

The Dodgers don't need young pitching, what the dodgers need is good hitting and if you check Ethier's stats for the last 5 years, you will see that he is a solid hitter!!!

Trade him to Boston for Ellsbury. There is your CF and lead off hitter.

Yes you were, my mistake!!! I will re-phrase that, "Ellsbury, is not a better player than Ethier", at least the stats don't prove it the last 5 years". Also Ethier can play centerfield.

It's close, Ellsbury is pretty good when healthy. They are different types of players. IMO Ellsbury seems to fit in more of what the Dodgers need right now. A true lead off hitter with speed, who will steal you 30-40 bases and a true Gold Glove CF.

As a Sox fan I would rather keep Ellsbury, but he seems to want to go back West when the season is done.

I see your point and maybe the Dodgers and Boston are thinking about trading the two!!!

Probably not, it makes too much sense. But I do think it would be a good trade for both teams, as long as LA can get him to sign an extension, which could be difficult with Boras in the picture.

Wasn't Adam Jones the Golden Glove award winner (CF) in the AL in 2012???

yes he was, Ellsbury won in 2011.
