Burke a two-and-done star at Michigan?

08:13 AM ET 01.21 | In a way, the countdown clock had been reset when Trey Burke opted to pass on the NBA draft. Presently, Burke's averaging 18 points and 7.2 assists per game for No. 5 Michigan (17-1). He's viewed as one of the front-runners for both the Big Ten and various national player of the year honors. And, on top of that, his draft stock has gone up considerably. ... There's no promise what the future holds for Burke and Michigan beyond this season. But, if his career as a Wolverine comes to a close after the 2012-13 campaign, one would have a tough time arguing that Burke's time in Ann Arbor wasn't completely beneficial for both sides of the equation. "I want to win," he said. "Whatever I need to do to win, I try to do that."

I've heard rumor that the NBA is actually popular...

...in China.

Most likely done after this year Tinny.

I'd be surprised if he comes back for his junior year.

Yeah, Yoop, it's the way of things. I do enjoy CBB games - 20 minute halves are just right, college rules, young players & fans... all the intangibles.

The pro game is comparatively sterile. I think the last time I enjoyed a pro game, I was in Atlanta, and Spud Webb was playing for the Hawks.

Any possibility of Burke leaving before 2/5/2013?

More like a walking nightmare, DC. Bucks have to find someone to put the biscuit in the basket besides Deshaun Thomas.

Craft handled Burke pretty well, but he is also the one that needs to step up on the other side for Thomas.

GO BUCKS!!!

No doubt Kraftwerk can flat lay down the techno beats, but it's time for someone else to step up and add another textural dimension to the genre.

Obfuscated it for you....

MLK day really subtracts from the # of posts in here, or is it just crappy topics?

I really like that #10 (freshman?) that comes off the bench.

He must be too undisciplined for Matta.

I keep thinking he should play more. Looks like a real play maker.

Definitely . . . he'll handle any one he plays very well.

Might be the best defender in College Basketball. If he stays out of foul trouble, he's always a big factor on "D".

Michigan sleep walked through the first 10 minutes at OSU. They played just like that vs. Nebraska (game b/4 OSU) and was able to pull away in the last 5 min for a 15 pt victory.

Can't do that vs. good teams in the B1G . . . especially on the road.

Their intesity picked up in the 2nd half vs. OSU and then the whole game vs. Gophers. Hope they learned their lesson.

OSU is a very good team but lacking another offensive punch in their set offense. If they can rebound and run they're fine.

Yeah . . . I typically don't watch much NBA until "The Finals" if it's an interesting match-up.

Hiya, Papa! No doubt Kraftwerk can play D, but on the offensive side the Bucks are too one-dimensional. If they don't get the problem fixed quickly, they'll be in the NIT rather than the Big Dance.

I betcha Matta has it fixed in time!

GO BUCKS!!!
