Rangers playing without heart

08:24 AM ET 01.21 | A much-anticipated NHL season in Manhattan finds the Blueshirts 0-2 after a back-to-back, including Sunday's 6-3 home loss to the Penguins that saw Henrik Lundqvist pulled. None of the four goals he gave up clearly was his fault. "I was not going to keep him in there," Tortorella said about Lundqvist, who was replaced by Martin Biron. ... The team's lone bright spot, Rick Nash, added a shorthanded goal with just over five minutes left. By then it was too little, too late, and Kris Letang finished it off for the Penguins with an empty-netter. The last-place Rangers have many questions to answer, including ones about the details they most took pride in -- heart and determination. "That's a big detail," Richards said.

If they keep going like this they'll be playing with President's and Stanley too.

Geez, it's two games. Relax.

Pens fired Therrien the season after he took them to the Cup final. Look what happened. You think Slats would have any reservation about tossing Torts out on his ass?

Wonder if the Rangers are still the "best team on paper" ?? .....

I hate it when they constantly show Tortz on the bench either smirking like the league is against him or having a tantrum. His coaching style has a short shelf life.
The Pens seemed to be the better conditioned team last two nights.

Keep trading for "superstars" is what I say. Worked well in the past. Forget that blue collar team that got you to the ECF, trade for stars.

Nash wearing red white and blue and his team can't win. The more things change, the more things stay the same

Time to bring back The Avery.

Meh, I doubt the Rangers are going away anytime soon. Can't judge any team right now when they have only been skating together 9 days
