Canucks again courting goalie controversy

08:27 AM ET 01.21 | Roberto Luongo insisted after Sunday's loss that, save for the pair of goals he let in, he was "where I want to be" from a technical standpoint -- but from a roster standpoint things are different. Luongo has owned the Oilers and he almost did again in a 3-2 shootout loss that will only add more fuel to the fire of how the crease conundrum is going to play out. ... Where Luongo is in the middle of another goalie controversy. Last seen between the pipes at Rogers Arena on April 13 in a 4-2 playoff loss to the Los Angeles Kings, he was expected to been seen in a new uniform and not in an old story line. That's why he was propping up Schneider post game, even though [Alain Vigneault] wouldn't name his starter Wednesday against Calgary.

"Other than the fact I let in more goals than we scored, we won the game...."

Well he only let in half the goals some of these other 'elite' goaltenders have early on.

Hank must have shot one in his pants when he saw this.

The problem with Roberta is that he has a knack for making stops he has no business making and letting in goals he has no business letting in.
