Pat White wants another shot at NFL

03:54 PM ET 01.22 | Pat White, a former record-setting quarterback at West Virginia, is trying to get back in the NFL. He was a controversial second-round draft pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2009, and he lasted just one season in Miami. Now, according to Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post, White says he's mentally prepared and still physically able to give pro football another shot. White is currently in his native city of Mobile, Ala., meeting with NFL coaches and executives who are in town for the Senior Bowl. He says he's just trying to convince them that he's ready for another chance:
