DEI shouldn't be DEI anymore.

I hope that Siegel is telling the truth because this is low even for Mrs. Earnhardt!!!! They should not shut Jr. and his past years at DEI out!! My God he IS an Earnhardt, he didn't just marry into the family!!!!

It's only DEI by name only, i would be very suprised if they get much support from the fans, even with Mark Martin I think they are sunk.

That showroom with the historic cars is so cool - believe Max will keep the Jr cars for view - that is 1/2 the reason fans (with money to spend) go to DEI. Loved seeing the black tribure 8 there......whew to cool.

I know they can't sell Jr. shirts and dicasts... BUT they should still have a showroom with some of his cars and stuff I bet they even have some Steve Parks stuff in there!!!.. If they don't this is just another reason for me to root against TEI more!

I really hope DEI and her drivers get as many boos as I think they are going to..

I wonder if Teresa Earnhardt and Peter Angelos are related. They run their businesses so similarly. With total incompetence.

I just hope Teresa changes the name formally to TEI, so there would be no further insults and disrespect to the two DE's. (Dale and son).

As a person who HATES NASCAR, yet knows a thing or two about it from the inevitable coverage, I just have to ask one thing: What in the world has Dale Earnhardt, Jr. accomplished during his career which makes him worthy of such praise? If his name was Dale Smith, he wouldn't be getting one-tenth this publicity with his dearth of successful results.

It sickens me when athletes, celebrities or ANYONE for that matter has kids who try to get rich & famous off their name... and Dale, Jr. is one of the biggest culprits!

If you hate Nascar - why waste your time? He is 3rd generation US racer, he is a nice guy, he does have talent as shown my 17 big league wins, and his career is far from over. What is not to like? I disagree totally with your last paragraph and such a broad statement should be supported by some detailed comparisons....sounds like a generic swipe to me.

Unbelievable!! I could not do that to the person who put the food on my table for many years. I don't know exactly how much money Junior produced, but I think all of us have an idea. That is sooo low, and disgusting!! I hope nobody buys any merchandise for the #8 or the #1 or any of the other Teresa's cars. She can kiss our money good bye!!

I really think the licensing issue for merchandise is true guys - Bud and Jr are goooone. And at the least there is no money in it anymore. Ouch....hope Truex can carry this garage.
