02:28 PM ET 01.22 | The Houston Cougars have had simple red helmets with white letters for as long as they have been playing football. However, if a picture leaked on twitter is accurate, they could be switching things up and going modern. Pictures show a white helmet and a chrome helmet with the traditional UH logo, as well as a red helmet with a chrome cougar on the side. The school has not officially announced any uniform changes, but said that the helmets are mock ups.
