05:56 PM ET 01.22 | In the wake of the Suns parting ways with head coach Alvin Gentry, the ugly situation in Phoenix is getting worse by the day. On Tuesday, reports surfaced that Suns center Jermaine O'Neal got into a "expletive-laced" shouting match with General Manager Lance Blanks following interim head coach Lindsey Hunter's first practice. The veteran won't make the trip to Sacramento, whether it be for a reported "unstated" medical problem or otherwise. Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski wrote that a source said the dispute was an issue of O'Neal's displeasure with the rebuilding project in Phoenix and his uncertain future. O'Neal is averaged 6.4 points and four rebounds a game for the Suns, who with the worst record in the Western Conference are potentially going to give more minutes to young players moving forward.

Shouting is about the only thing O'Neal has left to intimidate others with, because he ain't doing it on the court.
