07:57 AM ET 01.23 | Cowboys owner Jerry Jones promised change, and it's arriving in waves. [Jones] indicated Tuesday that coach Jason Garrett won't be the team's offensive play-caller next season after he's handled that duty for Dallas his first two and a half seasons as the head coach. Jones, speaking from Senior Bowl practices, didn't officially make the announcement but said that Garrett agrees with the decisions that have been made. In a 30-minute interview with media, Jones made the Cowboys' new direction clear. Indications are that offensive coordinator Bill Callahan will take over the team's play-callinig duties, though Jones didn't directly say that Tuesday. Callahan declined an interview request earlier Tuesday.

He must be relieved. Turn the blame to someone else.

Maybe Jerry should call the plays and just be done with it.

No big news here. Just proves that Garrett is a "yes sir" head coach, even more now.

And in an interview with ESPN commentator Tim Brown, Callahan said he would be sure to consult with opposing defensive coordinators when calling plays.

Aww, but Skins fans love it when Garrett was calling the plays.

Garrett is cool with this as long as he can continue to be the Cheerleader coach.

True, true! They took away his play calling but the worst part is his time management and he can still call time outs so he can still f$%k up a game.

Yes, but that won't stop Jerry from making yet another dumb decision.

It is refreshing to see a leader who recognizes that an employee's talents are not being used in the most effective manner. Wonder if Jones will do the same to his GM.

The good news is, Dallas doesn't have to worry about a SB being thrown, with them in it.
