08:05 AM ET 01.23 | Spring Training may just get in the way of Kevin Towers making a big deal. [Towers] said that if something is going to happen regarding a trade of one of his outfielders, it will take place before that. "I would imagine," he said. "Usually clubs once Spring Training starts are pretty comfortable with what they have unless there's an injury or something." ... While the Rangers and Braves have expressed interest in [Justin Upton] throughout the winter, so far neither team has put together a package that meets what the D-backs are looking to get. That could, of course, change in the next couple of weeks, but if it doesn't, it seems likely the team will turn its attention to dealing Jason Kubel.

Kubel would fit nicely in the Rays lineup.

the d'backs either deal Justin upton or Kubel but somebody would likely go across town,,meaning texas are the top bidding in any trade,,

So the D-backs will keep Upton for 3 more years after trying their best to offload him and him refusing the one trade possibility - that should make for a pleasant clubhouse.

We could use him in RF here in Milwaukee and bump Aoki to CF.

there is always tomorrow, IF Justin Upton is not traded this spring training? the d'backs always can bring him back in the trade mode next winter, perhaps by then the rangers are willing to trade some of their top prospects who knows??

alacran lives in a rip in the time/space continuum. Such petty matters are of no consequence to him/her/it.
