05:29 PM ET 01.23 | The New York Knicks are once again the NBA's most valuable franchise, according to estimations released by Forbes. With an estimated value of $1.1 billion, the Knicks are one of two teams to be worth an estimated $1 billion or more along with the Los Angeles Lakers. Rounding out the top five most valuable NBA franchises are the Chicago Bulls ($800 million), Boston Celtics ($730 million) and Dallas Mavericks ($685 million). The NBA's least valuable team according to Forbes? The Milwaukee Bucks, at an estimated $312 million.

Politician owning the team doesn't help. WORST OWNER EVER!!! If you don't spend the money, you're not going to get people to spend it back. Capitalism 101.
