Matt Damon thinks Patriots win Super Bowl if healthy

03:13 PM ET 01.23 | Well let's just get this straight up front: The Patriots never would have lost to the Ravens if they'd been healthy. That means Rob Gronkowski healthy, Aqib Talib healthy, and Steven Ridley not obliterated into limbo late in the fourth quarter. If they'd all been 100 percent, there's no way the Patriots lose that game. So says Matt Damon, who was interviewed on his way through an airport. "Lotta injuries," Damon said. "They couldn't beat us full strength."

Could, woulda, shoulda: Damon knows nothing about anything. Clueless in Cambridge.

Yup, sour grapes on his part. Gronkowski may have made a difference but Brady was pretty average last Sunday so probably couldn't have gotten him the ball anyway.

When did Damon start doing drugs?

Well, I think the Cardinals would have won the Super Bowl if they had just had a top-flight QB, and offensive line, a couple of running backs, several more elite defensive players and a coaching staff.

He played a genius in movie once. He could have done just as well staying in a Holiday Inn Express.

Kansas City would have had the same shot.

Well, that's it. If Matt Damon thinks they'll win, then that's good enough for me. Put me down for a million. (Sheesh!)

Is Dat Door Matt or Floor Matt?

That's funny, Mel.

Injuries hurt every team. Period.

Sure, I would like to see the Patriots face the Rayvens with Gronk and Talib, but they weren't. End of story.

I didn't like the conservative, passive play-calling in the second half. I thought that was the bigger problem.

Plus, the Ravens played well....
