08:04 AM ET 01.24 | Atop the "best player without a team" board, Michael Bourn readies for his payday. [Suitors] are starting to show up now for the center fielder who by some advanced-stat estimates has saved 80 runs or more with his defense over the past four years. To this point, Bourn hasn't had just mystery teams but an entire mystery market. But now, teams are starting to emerge, and things are starting to develop. Here's a look at the thought-to-be players in the long-running behind-the-scenes drama that still may have an act to play ... 1. Mets. ... 2. Braves. ... 3. Rangers. ... 4. Mariners. ... 5. ... Orioles. ... 6. Cubs. ... 7. Rays. ... 8. Dodgers. ... 9. Field. The Yankees admit they could use another bat, but they appear focused on a righthanded hitter.

Mr. writer if the Braves wanted Bourn they would have sign him already, the Mets probably cannot afford his salary demands, and to me he will probably end up in the AL taking less money, because Boras over price him.

the qualified offer from the braves still stands as of this day,,,should bourn take it as a desperate move??braves could and should benefit from this acceptance!!!

the braves top priority in their OF has been minimized with the Justin Upton trade completely late last night,,the braves aren't in need for another OF hitter!!!

Many free-agent signings happen after January. Supply and demand rather than a particular interest in a player by a team. Anyone signed from here to the start of the season is still wanted by that team. Bourn is likely to come cheaper for the Braves now than he would have in Nov-December.

Obviously, if the Upton trade goes through, Bourn will not be needed in Atlanta.

That trade is a good move by the Braves. Justin Upton is still very young with a big up side. That's a solid outfield the Braves have assembled.

i'd say the Rangers. i don't think the Mets have the cash and the Dodgers don't really need him

reading the ajc.com blogs, lots of fans are upset about trading away Prado. he's a great utility player, clubhouse leader, etc....but he was going to arb and will also be a FA after next season.
i'll miss watching Prado, but this trade made the team stronger imo.

I could still see LA signing him, then flipping Ethier to somewhere like Texas. Perhaps Ethier and Capuano for Mike Olt?
Dodgers are doing some crazy stuff...and they don't really have a leadoff hitter.
