Tom Brady fined $10k for kicking slide

01:55 PM ET 01.24 | The NFL has fined New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady $10,000 for unnecessary roughness in the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, via Twitter. According to Rapoport, the fine is due to a slide Brady took to avoid a tackle from Ravens safety Ed Reed. Brady slid with one leg pointed upward at Reed, who caught on it and stumbled. Reed looked like he had jumped to avoid the spikes on the bottom of Brady's cleats.
