QB Bryan Bennett transferring from Oregon

03:35 PM ET 01.24 | Quarterback Bryan Bennett is leaving the Oregon Ducks and transferring to Southeastern Louisiana. The backup quarterback played behind Darron Thomas early, then failed to beat out freshman quarterback Marcus Mariota prior to the 2012 season. Since he's transferring to a FCS school, Bennett will be able to play right away. The loss of Bennett leaves Oregon with only two scholarship quarterbacks behind Mariota, so an injury could become a big issue in a hurry if things go badly.

This make quite a bit of sense to me!!! Marcus Mariota, was a Freshman QB this past season and no way was Bennett going to take MM's job, unless he got hurt!!!
