03:41 PM ET 01.24 | The University of Houston will break ground on a new $105 million, 40,000 seat football stadium in February. The Cougars' old home, Robertson Stadium, had been in use since 1942, and was torn down in December. The team is expected to play their home games at Reliant Stadium, the home of the Texans. Robertson Stadium also served as the home for the Houston Dynamo of MLS. The new stadium should be open and ready for the 2014 football season.
