03:49 PM ET 01.24 | New Mexico State finds itself in a tough spot after head coach DeWayne Walker left the team to take a job with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Aggies are only two weeks away from National Signing Day, and will need to scramble to hold their recruiting class together. Offensive coordinator Doug Martin is expected to be appointed as the interim coach. Walker was 10-40 after four years in charge, and was not shy about saying he didn't think the program was supported well enough by the university.

Dang. 2 weeks before LOI day, the head freakin coach bails??? That's kinda slimy. For some reason, the only person who has been able to make anything positive out there, has been Rocky Long.

Rocky coached the Lobos. The Aggies have had only 4 winning seasons since 1970. None of them were consecutive either
