08:21 PM ET 01.24 | Notre Dame Fighting Irish guard Scott Martin could be watching his college basketball career coming to an end. Martin will be out of action for the next two to three weeks because of recurring pain in his knee. Unfortunately for Martin, the pain could keep him out for the rest of the season. Last may, Martin was granted a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA that allowed him to play for Notre Dame this season. On the season, Martin had been a solid contributor for the Fighting Irish. Martin has 7.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this season. His absence will now leave Notre Dame coach Mike Brey looking to find a replacement that can take Martin's spot in the rotation.
