09:54 PM ET 01.24 | Ricky Rubio's slow recovery from last season's ACL tear is now weighing on him to the point that frustration is hard to hide. On Wednesday night, the Spanish point guard was benched for the entire fourth quarter of a close game against the Brooklyn Nets, and Rubio afterward questioned why he was held out. Acting head coach Terry Porter said that it was more of what the other Timberwolves, J.J. Barea especially, was doing rather than anything of Rubio's fault. Going with the hot hand or not, Porter's decision didn't sit well with Rubio. "I want to know what happened," Rubio told the Pioneer Press. "We're going to talk. 'TP' preferred to play the other players who were playing. I don't know what to say. I don't like it."

Stop getting injured all the time and start being consistently productive, before you start demanding things. Your nba 'hype' isn't gonna save you. Earn your minutes boy.

Until the NBA starts drafting up contracts that pay players for performance rather than just salary, he has nothing to gripe about. Whether he sits on the bench or plays every minute of every game, he is still getting paid rediculous money to play a game...shut up already...happy Friday everyone.
