08:01 AM ET 01.25 | Good news, Cards fans. Now [Larry Fitzgerald] has a new offensive-minded head coach who has hired an offensive-minded assistant head coach. Bruce Arians and Tom Moore have a combined 60 years of coaching experience in the NFL. The offense will get plenty of attention, and Arians already is on record saying he will get Fitzgerald the ball. Fitzgerald said Thursday, after the NFC team's Pro Bowl practice, that he already has met and talked with Arians a few times, and he came away impressed. "I'm excited. It's a change, obviously," Fitzgerald said. "I have great admiration for my former coaching staff. I have great respect for those guys, and I'm sad to see them go. But I'm excited about our future."

Yeah. Fitz is a class act, and he probably does have something to be optimistic about with the upgraded coaching staff. But, without a similar upgrade at the quarterback position, the only way to get him the ball more often is to put him in the backfield or start running a lot of end-arounds.

They still need a QB to get the ball to Fitzgerald, Arians is used to having Manning, Big Ben and Luck...

You're right on. It would be great to see him finally get a good offense and a good QB. Getting the good QB is going to be the trick.

Fitz has got to be the most patient, long-suffering receiver in the game today. I hope he finally gets a QB.

Depends largely on your concept of what one is.

Sounds wonderful. Now all they need are some O-linemen that could actually give their brittle QBs more than 1.5 seconds to throw the ball.

Spot on. It doesn't matter how much attention you give the offense. If the O-Line is as horrible as it was last year, you're not going to win regardless of who is playing QB.

Does he EVER have an opinion about ANYTHING?? All he does is spew out the same "gee willikers" optimistic quotes...maybe thats why the team hasn't been pressed to get the brotha no help. Not saying he should be a disruptive force but there's a way you can express your concern about the direction of your organization
