08:13 AM ET 01.25 | Good news, mid-major fans. Butler scoring leader Rotnei Clarke returned to basketball practice [Thursday] and appears probable for Saturday's home against Temple (6 p.m., ESPN2). Butler trainer Ryan Galloy said Clarke, who sprained his neck in a scary fall Jan. 12 at Dayton, would be evaluated again Friday before he can be cleared for the game. "Rotnei saw a spine specialist again this morning, and everything looks stable and he has no symptoms, so he was cleared for full contact," Galloy said in a statement released by the university. Clarke was fouled on a layup attempt at Dayton and crashed into the padded basket support. He temporarily lost some feeling, remained on the floor for eight minutes and was taken from the court on a stretcher.
