Brouwer apologizes for 'pathetic' Caps

Losing to the Jets on the back end of two games in two days was bad enough (they had 1 win in 13 all of last year)...but some of the credit last night has to go to Carey Price.

Price is playing great.

The Caps are not playing at all.

It can't be surprising that some teams are struggling early. The usual month of training camp and preseason being shrunk to a week almost garuntees that a few teams will take a week or two before they are playing well.

The only thing I know for sure about this season is that I, nor anybody else, knows for sure wtf is going to happen this season. At least not for a month or so.

Oh, and that Dion Phaneuf needs to break his legs. Both of them. And never play hockey again. I definitely know that part.

exactly...the first games of a season are usually sloppy and hardly foretelling for the season....except this year, they're magnified because of the Dwarfus Lockout

After I put up my disdain for his mistakes thus far yesterday morning, I listened to the radio and read reports that had nothing but glowing praise for Dion so far this year and asked myself wtf?

After last night, that shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Totally agree with this statement

Craps (ha. ha.) will be fine.

Just keep Holtby up in Washington. That will give the Baby Pens half a chance against Hershey. And the way the Baby Pens have been playing lately they need all the help they can get.

And that is highly evident with some suprises starting out....Wings, Caps, Rangers....and Ottawa at 3-0 with 2 GA. Holy crap, didn't see that one coming.

Yep. Some teams are in line for a hard fall in a week or so as everything settles out.
