11:26 AM ET 01.25 | Maples Leafs defenseman Dion Phaneuf could face possible NHL discipline for his hit on New York Islanders center John Tavares on Thursday night. Tavares crumpled to the ice after being hit head first into the boards by Phaneuf, as the Islanders' Matt Moulson scored just a few seconds after. Phaneuf was not penalized on the play nor has he been suspended by the NHL for any prior infractions.
