01:06 PM ET 01.25 | The NCAA's case against the University of Miami fell apart earlier this week, when it was revealed that the organization's enforcement staff directed Nevin Shapiro's lawyer, Maria Elena Perez, to ask specific questions during Shapiro's bankruptcy deposition. Now, Perez says she is being set up as the NCAA's "patsy" for the botched investigation. NCAA president Mark Emmert suspended the inquiry into Miami so the organization can investigate its own investigation. Perez has denied any wrongdoing.
