Flyers Andrej Meszaros to miss a month

02:55 PM ET 01.25 | Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Andrej Meszaros is expected to miss at least one month due to an injury to a muscle near the AC joint in his left shoulder. General manager Paul Holmgren made the announcement on Friday afternoon after Meszaros was examined by a doctor. The injury is believed to have occurred in the closing seconds of the second period in Thursday night's 2-1 victory over the New York Rangers. Meszaros was unable to return to the game in the third period and was seen with his left arm in a sling. This injury only adds to the Flyers injury woes as Scott Hartnell broke his foot on Tuesday night and is expected to miss any where from four-to-eight weeks.
