07:45 AM ET 01.26 | The Mets aren't ready to bring Zack Wheeler to the majors yet, but his agent is. After watching his client throw at Georgia Tech on Thursday, Al Goetz wrote on Twitter yesterday: "If the Mets have [five] starters better than what I saw from [Wheeler] yesterday, they will win the East #bigleagueready." Goetz is a former scout with the Braves and player in the Tigers' organization and his opinion probably won't do much to alter the plans of general manager Sandy Alderson or the rest of the Mets' hierarchy.

Looks like he could use a bacon double cheeseburger.

wiseup: I'm sure the Mets will take his agent advise. The mets have their own persennel to decide who they bring up and when. Goetz has one goal in mind, that is to go goetz the kid to the majors. That way he can start lining his pockets with his commission.
