Reggie Evans: Grizzlies disrespectful of Nets

08:06 AM ET 01.26 | The game wasn't over yet, but the Nets were finished, having been punished so badly by the Grizzlies that Gerald Wallace called it "a good ol' ass-whooping." Reggie Evans was standing up, taking exception to Memphis coach Lionel Hollins' decision to leave his starters in a blowout. He looked directly at the Grizzlies' bench and clapped sarcastically. At one point, he hollered at Memphis center Marc Gasol. He then sat down, and exchanged similar pleasantries with heckling fans at the FedEx Forum. After Friday night's 101-77 defeat, Evans expanded on his frustration, calling it an issue of respect. Most of Memphis??? starters were on the floor with less than four minutes remaining and the Grizzlies leading by 22. But Evans was most baffled by Hollins' decision to re-insert Gasol with 3:21 left.

There's nothing wrong with Lionel getting his starters to practice some sets against a real NBA team. I don't call that disrespect. What is this world coming to? Even losers get to complain about being disrespected. Cut the crap out Nets... if you can't win to gloat get the F outta the NBA.

Go Memphis!

The Nets will get their chance at payback in Feb. As far as this game, it was the 4th game of a 5 game road trip, so not surprising the Nets had a let down. If the Grizz want to run up the score, well, that's up to them.

I can't recall Lionel Hollins ever being accused of being classless.

Got no problem with Hollis...You guys watch the games and you know darn well that the teams can get zoned right back into a game ...... But why were the Nets' starters still on the floor then? Evans, I used to like you as a Clipper - not so much now...

Stupid from a coachign perspective, IMO. I don't find it disrespectful, but:

1) Imagine your star getting hurt during garbage time? For no reason!
2) That's a good time to evaluate your 2nd stringers and role players
