So he plays tuesday and by thursday he's out with a groin pull.

Bergevin probably told him that he can either come off his term or he can sit at home for the season and keep making his mercedes + condo payments, as well as picking up the tab for all his homies.

What makes it especially stupid is that the 2 year bridge deal is, in fact, a 1.5 year bridge deal. Before he knows it he'll be negotiating for his maxxed out contract.
