10:16 AM ET 01.26 | The Montreal Canadiens met with P.K. Subban's agents on Friday in a meeting that reportedly did not go very well. TSN's Darren Dreger reports on Saturday morning that the Habs are holding firm on a two-year contract offer worth around $5 million total. Subban is believed to be looking for significantly more, looking for a deal similar to the five-year, $26.5 million contract Jamie Benn signed with the Dallas Stars on Thursday.

I wonder who's on the CBC at 7 pm EST today?

Any guesses kids?

He should have signed when they were throwing money away like candy on halloween. They seemed to have tightened up on marginal players

Figured a likely Leafs loss vs. a damn good Rangers team would make for a happy beaver?

Or a good Wings win with Helm skating up and down the ice at full speed. Leafs were holding 'till the 3rd.

I liked his cross icer to Zetterberg too.

An aging Lidstrom can't have been so important to them that they are beyond hope.

I think they are going to be OK if they can get one decent D Man.
