11:45 AM ET 01.26 | The Phoenix Coyotes acquired center Matthew Lombardi with the hopes of adding scoring depth to a team in desperate need of offense. Lombardi, however, is out indefinitely with an upper-body injury that could keep him out for a "significant amount of time," according to GM Don Maloney. Lombardi missed nearly all of the 2010-2011 season with a concussion after a career-season with the Coyotes the previous year.

If Lombardi can't get healthy he'll be a grocery store packer too. Yotes really needed him to chip in a few goals this season, not good for a team that counts Steve Sullivan as its "big gun".

Saying such a thing in Canada proves you are old as most stores got rid of packers twenty years ago! As for lobotardi, he'll be back in time for the playoffs or the fire sale.

They picked up the wrong guy...they should have picked up Redden, the sniper.

The Sharks better hope that Gnomez doesn't run into and hurt Marleau or Thornton at practice...
